The Art of Destruction
March 2025
“There are great misconceptions & misunderstandings when it comes to art, and indeed artists… This work is the result of a persistent itch—an impulse, a restless need to stretch and break free from what is comfortable. There is something fundamentally ‘compulsive’ about it, something that demands expression, a force I cannot ignore. Once the rhythm of a process becomes predictable, I lose interest. I’m not an artist for the sake of repetition. I need to feel out of my depth’—the risk, the struggle, the friction—these are the true elements of creation.
‘Peaceful’? No, not for me. Art is a fight. Art should always be a fight."
