Stargazing
Plywood Relief Sculpture
Stargazing A quiet world seen from afar, this piece captures the stillness of a space in a dark anthracite grey, where layered forms evoke continents, currents, and traces of coexisting planets. Strong geometric detailing define depth, and cast striking shadows into surrounding negative space, as if glimpsing both time and distance. Soft gold leaf elements glow within the darkness like distant stars or signs of life, infusing warmth into an otherwise muted landscape. Together, they balance the organic and the engineered, a serene, abstract orbit where silence, structure, and light harmonise.
