In 1966, during the production of Two for the Road in the south of France, Terry O'Neill photographed Audrey Hepburn in a series of unguarded moments that captured a side of her rarely seen by the public.
Hepburn had, by 1966, reached the summit of global stardom. She had won the Oscar, the Tony, and the BAFTA. She was one of the most recognised faces on earth. What O'Neill captured in those days near the Côte d'Azur was something different - a woman at rest, briefly unknown to the world around her.
